Amber Alert Canceled for Carlie Brucia

The Sarasota Police Department and the FDLE canceled the Amber Alert Friday morning February 6, after finding her body. Authorities have charged Joseph Smith in the girl's kidnapping and death.

She is a white female, 11 yrs., 5', 120 lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes was apparently abducted from a car wash in Sarasota Florida on Sunday afternoon February 1.

She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and might be carrying a pink backpack.

The suspect is a white man in his late 20s or 30s with dark hair. He was wearing some type of uniform shirt.

Sarasota police issued the Amber Alert on Monday afternoon after a security video showed the man apparently forcing the girl to leave the area with him.
