Amber Alert Canceled for 5 Year Old Maryland Boy Posted: Monday November 28, 2005 10:11 AM CT Updated: Monday November 28, 2005 10:42 AM CT
The Maryland State Police canceled the Amber Alert after the boy and his 22 year old mother were found safe on Monday morning. The Amber Alert has been classified as a hoax by the boy's mother and will not be included in the Code Amber statistics.
Isaac Hernandez, an Hispanic male, 5 yrs., 3' 5" and 55 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve shirt with a gray, green or yellow jacket, blue jeans and Timberland boots.
The suspect is Carlos Delcid a 41 year old Hispanic male.
The suspect vehicle is a red, 2003 Dodge Ram with a red cap on the rear and the words "Red Scorpion" across the front windshield. It has Maryland Bay tags: 49914B/Y. The suspect also owns a second vehicle, a 1996 Toyota T-100 pick-up with Maryland tag number 1EG807.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-279-8000 or dial 911.
