Amber Alert Canceled for Two California Girls

The State of California canceled the Amber Alert Monday (02-28) after the suspect contacted police in Utah and handed the girls over to authorities unharmed. The suspect is the girls' father and is now waiting to be interviewed by California authorities.

The State of California issued the Amber Alert early Monday (02-28) after the suspect abducted the girls in Bellflower Sunday afternoon. The suspect has reportedly made threats against the girls. Police believe they may be headed to Oakdale, Connecticut.

Natalya Litwin, a white female, 6 years old, 3' 6", 50 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Katelyn Litwin, a white female, 2 years old, 2', 40 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

The suspect is Steven Litwin., a white male, 34 years old, 6' 4", 160 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his left forearm.

The suspect vehicle is a silver Mercury Mountaineer with California tag number 5LGE045.
