Emerald Marie Porter, 17, who was abducted at gunpoint from her home in Copperas Cove Sunday morning, was released by her abductor later that afternoon near Lake Belton, Texas, on Fort Hood property.

Porter then drove her mother's vehicle, which had been stolen by her abductor, back to Copperas Cove, where she made contact with Copperas Cove Police Department officers at 6 p.m.

Copperas Cove police are still searching for Jeryl Patrick Graves Jr., a 21-year-old black male. Graves is 5-feet-11-inches tall and has brown eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap and a blue and gray sports jersey. He has tattoos on both arms.

Graves has a felony conviction for assault on a public servant and several warrants have been issued for his arrest.
