Amber Alert Canceled for 16 Year Old Texas Girl

The State of Texas canceled the Amber Alert Thursday morning (7-29) after the girl was found safe in Raton, New Mexico Wednesday night (7-28). The suspect is in custody and charges are pending.

The State of Texas issued the Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon (07-27) after the girl was reportedly abducted late Monday (07-26) Richmond which is near Dallas. The girl was seen in the Boerne area Tuesday morning. Boeme is north of San Antonio and they are believed to be traveling out of state towards New Mexico on Interstate 10.

Alyssa Rehfield, a White female, 16 years old, 5' 7", 180 pounds with brown eyes and blond hair. She was last seen wearing dark blue or black skinny jeans, a black t-shirt with a black wrap-around cardigan.

The suspect is David Karan, 5'7" tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

The suspect vehicle is a Silver Ford Aspire hatchback with Oregon license plate number 884-AGZ.
