The State of Colorado canceled the Amber Alert Friday afternoon (10-12) after the dismembered remains found Wednesday night (10-10) were positively identified through DNA. Former FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt said the condition of the body could indicate an experienced killer. "It's someone who's fully capable of doing something like this again".
The State of Colorado issued the Amber Alert Friday (10-05) after the girl went missing on her way to school in Westminster. Police issued the Amber Alert late Friday after determining that the girl never arrived at a meeting place three blocks from her home where friends were waiting for her to walk to school.
The children always meet at the park and walk to school together.
After speaking with the girl's mother Friday afternoon and determining that the girl never arrived at school, Police issued the Amber Alert because the only plausible explanation for the girl being missing is that she was abducted.
