Amber Alert Issued for 17 Year Old Kansas Girl

The Kansas State Police issued the Amber Alert after the girl was abducted on Tuesday.

Kelsey Stelting 17 years old. She's 5 feet 4 inches tall 110 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

There is no suspect information available at this time.

The KBI said the girl was kidnapped from her house, about two blocks near a business called Wood Lumber, and made to enter a white van. The van was thought to have been headed south of Independence about 6:35 a.m. on U.S. Highway 75.
