Amber Alert Canceled for 3 Year Old New Mexico Boy

The Bernalillo New Mexico County Sheriff's Office detectives canceled the Amber Alert on Tuesday night for the three-year-old boy after he was recovered safe and the suspect was taken into custody.

Isaiah Vasquez, 3 yrs., Hispanic male was abducted Tuesday evening in Bernalillo County New Mexico. He was last seen wearing blue plaid boxers and a red-and-blue striped shirt.

Allegedly the suspect stabbed his mother and he's considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police are looking for Leroy Garcia, an Hispanic male, 5'7", 170 lbs. with a goatee and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, jeans and brown boots.

Garcia is believed to be in a red Geo Metro with the license number DJY-448.
